Why So Many Applicants Never Get Approved

Every week, thousands of people submit Free Trial applications. A large share get rejected because of incomplete profiles, shipping addresses from the wrong country, late applications, or weak reviews after delivery.

Since weekly opportunities are limited, these small mistakes often decide the final result.

What the Free Trial Center Is

The Free Trial Center is Shein’s official product testing program. Selected participants can receive products at no cost and share honest feedback based on real use. When an application is approved, a $0 order is generated and shipped automatically.

This is not unlimited free shopping. Product availability changes often, and selection depends on campaign demand, application quality, and consistent participation over time.

Products that commonly appear:

• Clothing & Fashion: Tops, dresses, pants, jackets, and seasonal collections.
• Beauty & Personal Care: Makeup, skincare, and everyday care items.
• Accessories: Bags, jewelry, belts, and style extras.
• Home & Lifestyle: Decor, organizers, and practical home products.

2

Apply with up to 3 opportunities per week

You receive 3 Free Trial opportunities each week. Unused chances do not accumulate or carry forward to the next period.

When you locate an item you wish to test:

  • Click on Free Trial on the desired item
  • Choose your correct size parameters
  • Confirm a shipping address from the same country as the Shein site you are using
  • Submit your request

Important: If the address country does not match the regional site, the application can fail. Double-check this specific field before submitting.

3

Track results in My Free Trial

Results usually appear in about one week. Open My Free Trial / My Applications to follow your ongoing status:

  • Approved — You were selected! The free order is generated and processed automatically.
  • Failed — That specific campaign application was not selected. You can try other available options.

4

Submit your review within 10 days

After the product arrives, test it in normal use and write a detailed review covering quality, style, fit, fabric, and construction.

Add clear photos — ideally one full-body image and two detail shots. Submit through Post Report and track status under My Report. Complete this within 10 days.

How to write a review that helps future selection:

  • Strong reviews are honest and specific. Share both positives and negatives.
  • Explain the fit, fabric feel, construction quality, and real-life performance.
  • Real photos make a clear difference and add considerable value.

About points: A passed report can earn 20 points. A Quality Report may add 100 extra points.

Late or low-effort reviews can reduce future opportunities. If the first review is rejected, you may get one extra chance to revise and resubmit.

“I used to waste my weekly spots on rushed applications. Once I started applying early, using the correct country address, and submitting detailed reviews with real photos on time, approvals became much more consistent.”
